Information we collect

When you contact us, we collect the information you provide: name, email address, and the contents of your message. When you use GVX Digital products, each product's own privacy policy describes the data that product collects.

Free AI visibility check

When you run the free AI visibility check, we collect the business name, city, trade or category, website (if you give one) and email address you enter, plus a one-way hash of your IP address that we use to limit abuse. To run the check, we send only the trade and city, written into a few general questions, to our search data provider (DataForSEO), which puts those questions to ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google. Your email address and business name are not sent to them. We store your request with the answers so we can show you the results and follow up about them, and a recent result for the same business, city and trade may be reused for up to 7 days.

We use your email address only to follow up about these results. We never sell it or share it. We keep a check and its results for 12 months, then delete them, and you can ask us to delete yours sooner at any time.

Free Found Score check

When you run the free Found Score check, we collect the website, city and category you enter, plus a business name and email address if you give them, and use your IP address to limit how many checks one person can run. To work out the score, we read the public pages of the website you enter and put a few general questions about your category and city to AI tools through our search data provider. A recent result for the same website may be reused for up to 30 days. We use your email address only to send the report and follow up about it. We never sell it or share it, and you can ask us to delete your check at any time.

Free front door check

When you run the free front door check, we read the public pages of the website you enter (the homepage and its contact page) and look up its public DNS records, to see whether its email can receive mail, where its contact form sends and whether it offers online booking. We never fill in or submit the form, and we never send email to the address we find. We don't keep the website you enter or the results. A copy of the results is held in our hosting provider's cache for 10 minutes so the same site isn't checked over and over, and a one-way hash of your IP address is kept for up to two days to limit how many checks one person can run. If you also run the AI search step, it is the Free Found Score check described above.

This website collects standard technical information (such as browser type and pages visited) for performance and security purposes through our hosting provider.

How we use information

We use contact information to respond to inquiries, provide support, and communicate about engagements. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties except service providers necessary to operate our business.

Data retention

We retain correspondence for as long as needed to provide services and meet legal obligations. You may request deletion of your personal information at any time.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google, to understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed, what device and browser are used, and the approximate region a visit comes from. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser and receives your IP address, which Google Analytics 4 does not log or store. The data is used only to measure and improve this website. We do not use it for advertising and do not use advertising trackers.

You can block cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Google's handling of this data is described in the Google Privacy & Terms page.
