VoiceFront investigates what the phone-first customer experience looks like when an AI agent — not an IVR tree — answers for a service business.
Challenge
Small service businesses lose revenue to unanswered calls, but existing phone automation is universally disliked. The research question: can a voice agent be good enough that customers prefer it to hold music?
Solution
Prototype voice agents that can answer, qualify, schedule, and escalate — with the business owner in full control of what the agent may and may not do.
Current status
Research phase. Evaluating latency, interruption handling, and escalation UX.
